We help creators publish smarter

VidSync is a video scheduling and publishing platform built to help content creators and social media teams automate their TikTok publishing workflow using TikTok's official Content Posting API.

We started VidSync because we saw how much time creators were losing to manual publishing — logging in at the right hour, formatting captions, checking hashtags, and then repeating it all the next day. The actual creative work was getting squeezed out by operational overhead.

VidSync operates strictly within TikTok's developer guidelines. We only request the minimum necessary API permissions to schedule and publish videos on behalf of users who have explicitly authorized our application. We never access, store, or share user data beyond what is required to deliver our service.

1.1 Information You Provide

When you register for VidSync or use our services, we may collect the following information:

  • Video content: Video files, captions, hashtags, and scheduling metadata you upload to be published via TikTok's API.
  • Communications: Messages you send us via our contact form or email support.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use VidSync, we may automatically collect certain technical information:

  • Log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and timestamps.
  • Usage data: Features used, actions taken in the dashboard, and publishing activity.
  • Cookies: Session cookies to maintain your login state and preferences. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

1.3 TikTok OAuth Data

When you connect your TikTok account to VidSync via OAuth, we receive and store:

  • Your TikTok User ID (an anonymous identifier, not your username).
  • An access token and refresh token, which we use solely to publish videos on your behalf.
  • Basic profile information made available by TikTok's API (display name, profile image URL).

We do not access your TikTok messages, contacts, followers list, or any data outside the specific scopes you authorize during the OAuth flow. We request only the minimum permissions required to provide our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Service delivery: To operate the platform, process your video uploads, schedule posts, and publish them to TikTok via the API.
  • Account management: To create and maintain your account, authenticate your sessions, and manage your preferences.
  • Customer support: To respond to your inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and improve service quality.
  • Security: To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access to your account.
  • Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and TikTok's developer policies.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • TikTok: When you schedule a post, we transmit your video file and post metadata to TikTok's servers via their official API. This transmission is subject to TikTok's own Privacy Policy.
  • Service providers: We may engage third-party service providers for hosting, storage, and analytics. These providers are contractually bound to process data only on our behalf and in accordance with this policy.
  • Legal obligations: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same protections described here.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@vidsync.app.

Video files uploaded to VidSync are deleted from our servers within 30 days of the scheduled publish date. Access tokens for TikTok are automatically purged when you disconnect your TikTok account.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

  • All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher.
  • Access tokens and credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
  • Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
  • We conduct regular security assessments of our infrastructure.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data.

7. Cookies

VidSync uses only essential cookies necessary to operate the service. These include session cookies to keep you logged in and preference cookies to remember your settings. We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies.

You may configure your browser to refuse cookies, but doing so may impact your ability to use VidSync's authenticated features.

8. Children's Privacy

VidSync is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

VidSync is operated from Indonesia. If you access our services from outside Indonesia, your information may be transferred to and processed in Indonesia or other countries where our servers or service providers are located. By using VidSync, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a prominent notice on our platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of VidSync's website and services. By accessing or using VidSync, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Use of Services

1.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EU) to use VidSync. By using VidSync, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

1.2 Permitted Use

VidSync grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our platform for the purpose of scheduling and publishing video content to your TikTok account(s). You agree to use VidSync only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and TikTok's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

1.3 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use VidSync to:

  • Publish content that violates TikTok's Community Guidelines or any applicable laws.
  • Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, or infringes any third party's intellectual property rights.
  • Use the service to send spam, post misleading information, or engage in deceptive practices.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with VidSync's systems or TikTok's API infrastructure.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to interact with VidSync outside of our authorized API.
  • Circumvent, disable, or tamper with any security features of the platform.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

2. TikTok API and Third-Party Services

VidSync operates using TikTok's official Content Posting API. Your use of VidSync is also subject to TikTok's Terms of Service and Developer Terms. VidSync is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or its parent company ByteDance.

VidSync's API access is subject to TikTok's approval and may be modified, limited, or revoked by TikTok at any time. VidSync is not responsible for any interruption in service resulting from changes to TikTok's API, policies, or platform availability.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your VidSync account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us at support@vidsync.app if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

VidSync reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, TikTok's developer policies, or any applicable law.

4. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all video content, captions, and other materials you upload to VidSync. By uploading content, you grant VidSync a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing our scheduling and publishing services.

You represent and warrant that you own all rights to the content you upload, or have obtained all necessary licenses and permissions to publish that content via TikTok's platform.

5. Intellectual Property

The VidSync name, logo, website design, and software are the intellectual property of VidSync and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on VidSync's intellectual property without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimers

VidSync is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee that videos will be published at the exact scheduled time, as this depends in part on TikTok's API availability and processing times.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VidSync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services, including but not limited to loss of data, lost revenue, or missed publishing deadlines.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to VidSync in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VidSync and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of VidSync, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using VidSync and delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@vidsync.app. We may suspend or terminate your access to VidSync at any time, with or without notice, if we have reason to believe you have violated these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use VidSync ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through the courts of Jakarta, Indonesia, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of VidSync after that date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
